I find incredible peace in painting. I spent the majority of 2019 working full time in my studio on a new project that has completely captivated my time and energy. Focusing on our beautiful National Treasure, Lake Tahoe, my goal has been to capture her essence, depth, and magnificence. Each one of my Lake paintings is an original work of art and the substrate is hand milled by my husband. We take great care in creating each piece.
I have lived on the South Shore of the Lake since 1985. Raising two children and having had a myriad of jobs to make ends meet, I earned a degree in Art at Lake Tahoe Community College and finally began painting full-time in 2013. I am an active member of the Tahoe Art League and sit on the Board of Directors of the Tahoe Arts Alliance.
I have found that giving back to my community has enriched my life and art making. I donate 5% from the sale of each Lake to Bread and Broth for Kids. No child should go hungry.
