Fast becoming an annual winter event, Lake Tahoe Golf Course has once again partnered with the Rotary Club of South Lake Tahoe to bring you the hilarious play: “Shakespeare’s Long Lost First Play (abridged).” Yes, for the first time you will be able to see William Shakespeare’s long lost first play, discovered in a treasure-filled parking lot in Leicester, England (next to a pile of bones that didn’t look that important). Written by the seventeen-year-old Shakespeare, we see all his most famous characters and familiar speeches in a brand-new story. But because the manuscript is one hundred hours long, it was decided, as a public service, to abridge it down to the brief and palatable ninety-minute performance you will see.
