Richard S. Sargent
Richard S. Sargent is an award-winning actor, director, writer and producer. He graduated with a BA in Theatre & Communications from Gannon University in Erie, PA. Since then he has performed on stages all over the country, from New York City to California. He made his Off-Off Broadway debut in an original piece called "3 Kisses" and followed that up with the interactive show, "Fear." While appearing on many different stages in San Francisco, he also served as Artistic Director of the Left Coast Theatre Company and resident director for Windy City Productions. Throughout his 20-year career, he has starred in numerous short films, feature films, TV shows and commercials. Several of his short plays have been produced all over the country. He recently moved to South Lake Tahoe, where in his first year he managed to land 2 leading roles. He was nominated for a 2017 Forte Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his work as Jesus in "Godspell." He is currently working with the ACT 1 children’s theatre program while developing his own feature film.
